Solution of linear Volterra integro-differential equations via Sinc functions

Abstract

In this paper, Sinc-collocation method is developed to approximate of the second order linear Volterra integro-differential equations with boundary conditions. Properties of the Sinc-collocation method required for our subsequent development are given and are utilized to reduce the computation of linear second order boundary value problems to some algebraic equations. The method is computationally attractive, and applications are demonstrated through illustrative examples.
